Local Food System Survey

In order to gauge the interest and preferences of residents in Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) groups and other local food distribution models, Sustainable Sandhills has created a short online survey. LINK TO THE SURVEY. Please forward this link to your friends and neighbors who are interested in supporting local farmers producing local food!
Sustainable Sandhills and our partners at the Moore County Cooperative Extension Service, FirstHealth of the Carolinas, and the Sandhills F arm to Table Co-Operative developed the short online survey.
The results of the survey will be shared with consumers, farmers and groups working to increase the capacity of our local food system. The results will also be mapped, to illustrate the demand for local food and the viability of CSA's and other models in each of the communities in our region.
Local farmers need to see that there is sufficient demand for MORE of their locally grown produce to justify their investments.
