LOCAL GOVERNMENTS

Montgomery County
Coordinator: Kea Meacham
Team Kick-Off Meeting | June 15, 2010
An audience of local growers and interested citizens viewed the film “Fresh” and discussed theirdesire for better access to local food. The film was a key tool in highlighting the positive impact everyone can make on our health and the environment by supporting our local growers. Because of this interest, Sustainable Sandhills has designed a "Local Food Survey" for Montgomery County residents, which will help local farmers address the needs of the community. Please click on this link (http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/JF2LLRR) to take the survey online, or you may print a copy of the survey, fill it out and mail to: Sustainable Sandhills Food Survey, P.O. Box 144, Fayetteville NC 28302.
